Horses For Sale

We have accumulated a nice herd of quality animals. Most are registered American Saddlebreds. If you see something you like, come visit us and make an offer! Most of these horses can also be leased (you pay board, we pay everything else).

"Lesson"/Trained Horses

Fashion Scene (reg. as Fashion Scene) was shown as a Park Saddle and Driving horse and is occasionally used to test a rider's ability to post (she has a lot of hock action) and to give an experienced rider a challenging ride. She has been referred to as "The Red Ferrari". She loves to drive and has pulled a two-wheeled cart and a four-wheeled buggy. She produced a filly in October 2006. She is available only to a good home because of her age and the need for special care to control some health issues.
Shebara (reg. as Shebara) probably was a Country Pleasure Western horse in her younger days. She requires a confident rider because of her "need for speed". She clips, ears and all, without a twitch. She neckreins easily and goes well in a snaffle (and German martingale). She has been the "nanny" for the youngest of our babies. She had a black filly in 2004. She is used for lead-line lessons and to teach a rider to canter.
Whitney (reg. as Whitney) is a bay Saddlebred mare. She is enthusiastic, well trained, and loves people. She loves to go down the road and on trails and is an awesome ride in the arena. She has been used as a lesson horse. She produced a beautiful bay colt in April of 2007. She is open for 2009. She is available for $3,000.
Touché (reg. as Touch a Mirage) is a big, beautiful, black Saddlebred mare. She is well trained, friendly, and extremely gentle. She has been used for lessons for a varied array of adults and children. She produced a flashy chestnut filly in May of 2007 and is open for 2009. She is available for $3,000 and is available for lease.
Velvet (reg. as Black Velvet and Lace) is a black saddlebred mare. She has a sweet disposition and loves people. She is broke to ride and has been giving lessons. Velvet has been sold to a former riding student.
Our Hackney pony, Antone, is unregistered but has all the natural motion of a registered pony. He is approximately 12 years old, black with three white socks, and very animated. He is used for lessons for adults and kids. He is familiar with driving but is not real steady at it yet. He is available for $1,000 and could also be leased.

Young Stock

We are down to just a couple young horses that are in various stages of training.

Our Welsh pony, Heart, is a welsh/appaloosa cross. She was born in April of 2005 and is a black bay. She is sweet, good looking, in training, and priced at $500.
Our black gelding, Napoleon (reg.as Napoleon Knight) is a beautiful example of our breeding program. Napoleon is black like his sire and has the look of a show horse like his mother. He is all Saddlebred. He has been handled almost daily. He may be a Show Pleasure or Dressage prospect. His movement is awe inspiring! Price for Napoleon is $1,000.
Our big chestnut filly, Josephine (reg. as Queen Josephine) is another beautiful example of our breeding program. Josephine is a chestnut with a blond mane and tail. If she is anything like her full brother, Maxwell, she will be tall, sweet, and very level-headed. She is being handled and is extremely people oriented. She may be a Country Pleasure or Dressage prospect. Price for Josephine is $1000.
Our October 2006 filly, Diva (reg. as October Fashion Statement) is the product of our stallion and his companion mare, Fashion Scene. She is a chestnut saddlebred mare with a blonde mane and tail. If she's like her mom, she should be a nice show horse (possibly Park or Show Pleasure). She is a sweetheart. She is priced at $1000.
Our 2007 foals, Whiskey and Sandy (reg. as Whiskey Serenade and Sandy Mirage) are more examples of our breeding program. Whiskey is a bay gelding with lots of presence. He is very tall, beautiful, and typey. Sandy is a chestnut filly with 3 white socks, motion, and a people-oriented personality. Both of them will be awesome show or sport horse prospects. Either of them is available for $750.

Stallion

Bear (reg. as Black Gold Supreme) has been our herd sire. He is our breeding stallion and is big, black, and beautiful. His conformation is correct and his disposition is mild (for a stallion). He has produced 11 foals for us - many are available for viewing here. He has not bred any mares for the past couple of years because of our large herd size. Asking price for Bear is $1,000.

Broodmares

Princess (reg. as Mountainviews June Princess) is our main broodmare and the dam of many of the horses we have raised She has produced many foals with size, presence, and wonderful personalities. Her sire is Worthy Son. She had a beautiful bay colt in 2004 and a chestnut filly on May 9, 2006. She is easy to breed, settle, and foal out. She is a doting mother that has no problem with people working with the foal. She is available for $1,000.
Sugar (reg. as Nite's Sugar Girl) has motion and motor! She has a wonderful disposition and really loves people. She leads, ties, lunges, and stands for trims. She is long-lining and wears a crupper. She has started under saddle work. She has motion and attitude to burn! She produces beautiful foals with attitude. She produced a beautiful bay filly in 2004 and had a black colt in May 2006. She has not been bred since 2005. She breeds easily, carries the foal well, foals easily is a good mom. Her price is $1000.

All of these horses are available for viewing at our farm. If purchased, they can be boarded at our facility and lessons provided to facilitate the transition in ownership.

We fervently believe that once you visit our farm, tour our facilities, and meet our horses, you will be as entranced by them as we are and you'll become "excited about horses".
