Fashion Scene is a 20-year-old saddlebred mare. She was not supposed to be able to carry a foal so this one is a surprise for us. (Somewhat...since Vicky slept in the barn for 24 nights to insure her foal would be born alive!) She was pasture-bred in November 2005 and foaled around 9:30 PM on October 23, 2006. The sire of her foal is Bear (Black Gold Supreme), our black saddlebred stallion. We are calling her "Diva" for a barn name. This filly sure has unusual facial markings and the sweetest face and eyes. She is weaned and registered now.
Nite's Sugar Girl is a 7-year-old saddlebred mare. She was bred May 24, 2005 and foaled just before midnight on May 8, 2006. The sire of her foal is Bear (Black Gold Supreme), our black saddlebred stallion. We are calling her little black colt "Napoleon". He is weaned and registered now.
Princess is an eighteen year old saddlebred mare. She was last bred May 28, 2005 and foaled just before 11 PM on May 9, 2006. The sire of her foal is our black saddlebred stallion, Bear. We are planning to call her chestnut filly "Josephine". She is weaned and registered now.
The chestnut Arabian mare is Majiid. She is a boarder and is considered Straight Egyptian. She was bred in Michigan to a national champion Arabian stallion in mid-July of 2005. She produced a chestnut filly with four white socks and a long stripe on June 4, 2006. Her name will be Bint Ruminaja Fayez ("Aja").
The black Arabian mare is Sahar. She is a boarder and is considered Al Khamsa. She was last bred to a bay Arabian stallion on June 30, 2005. She foaled just after 10 PM on May 17. It's a black filly name Bedia El Adahsar ("Bedia"). This is her first foal and she is bred for 2007.
