Breeding

All of our Saddlebred horses are quality animals. We have spent years accumulating a herd of beautiful and talented animals. Our most recent addition to the herd is a black stallion that is being used as our herd sire and is available to the public. He has produced twelve registered Saddlebred foals and has been used as an outcross for Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and Arabians.

Bear (reg. as Black Gold Supreme) is our breeding stallion and is big, black, and beautiful. He has correct conformation, a nice trot, and a sweet temperament. He is not homozygous for black so he can produce black, bay, or chestnut. He will provide stud service in 2008 for $500.

Trained Mares

Fashion Scene has a big motor and is extremely sensitive to the rider. She was used as a Park Saddle and Driving horse. She has been referred to as "The Red Ferrari". She has motion to burn. She is Bear's companion and produced a filly by him in October 2006. We think she may be pregnant for 2008.
Shebara has the conformation of a huntseat or western pleasure horse. She requires a confident rider because she was taught that being under saddle means "GO!!!". She clips, ears and all, without a twitch. She neckreins easily and goes well in a snaffle. She has been the "nanny" for the youngest of our babies. She is open for 2008.
Whitney is a beautiful, very tall, bay saddlebred mare. She is broke to ride and will be used as a lesson horse this year. She had a half shire foal in 2005 and produced a beautiful bay colt in 2007.
Touché is a beautiful tall black saddlebred mare. She is broke to ride and has been used as a lesson horse. She produced a chestnut filly with lots of chrome in 2007.

Young Stock/Broodmares

Sugar (reg. as Nite's Sugar Girl) is a very up-headed mare with two white socks and a blaze. She loves being around people, has an awesome trot, is very intelligent, and is handled on a daily basis. She lunges, has been started under saddle, and has been showing us how big her motor is. She produced a beautiful bay filly by Bear in 2004 Jewel and a black colt in May 2006. Napoleon She will not be bred in 2007 due to our large herd size.
Princess (registered as Mountainviews June Princess) is our herd dam. She has produced babies with size, presence, and wonderful personalities. She is tall, regal, and beautiful. Her sire is Worthy Son. She had a handsome bay colt by Bear in 2004 Maxwell and produced a chestnut filly in May 2006. Josephine She will not be bred in 2007 due to our large herd size.

All of these horses are available for viewing at our farm. We offer boarding, breeding, training, lessons, and sales.

We fervently believe that once you visit our farm, tour our facilities, and meet our horses, you will be as entranced by them as we are and you'll become "excited about horses".
